Please note this grass seed is meant to be planted all year round in all areas of South Africa. Quic-Grow Evergreen grasses require less water than most other grasses; it has a long and extended root system and seeks water and nutrients deeper in the ground.

Animals that eat grass - Cattle, goats, sheep, rabbits, all poultry, all game and more.

The grass is suitable for horses with more nutrition than Lucerne and does not contain Lucerne or Rye.
The grass is suitable for hay and the use of conventional cutting and baling methods.

Why use our grass?

Growing in sandy soil is fine, it just needs to be well fertilised.

You only plant the seeds once, then the grass lasts forever. Ie it seeds itself once a year

Needs 400 mm minimum and up to 800 mm rain per annum otherwise irrigate to make up the difference .

The grass is frost resistant and does not die when frost occurs. This includes black frost.

Handles temperatures up to 55 degrees C.
